Our group is responsible for providing organizations with the best security solution for their cloud environment, allowing for visibility, governance, and protection over their infrastructure, platforms, and application solutions. We are looking for a Principal Security Engineering Manager to join and lead a fast-paced team solving complex security and systems focused problems in the sovereign cloud security space. You will work closely with a distributed engineering team, product management, CXP, and customers in addition to the central Azure organization leveraging the best platforms that Microsoft has to offer. The Security Engineer team will play a key role driving efforts to champion security during the buildout of Microsoft’s international sovereign cloud environments. This includes working with engineering teams throughout Microsoft to identify and address security vulnerabilities and compliance issues, architect and design information security solutions, advise on decisions impacting security, and educating peers about security best practices. The selected person will leverage their broad Security experience to lead the team that designs and implements solutions to the security challenges in the Azure environment. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
