As a Product Engineer at Micron, you will be part of a forward-thinking team of engineers that solves complex problems, responsible for enabling Micron’s products with flawless and issue free release to both internal and external customers. Product Engineers are the key interface between Research and Development, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Quality Assurance departments.

Key Responsibilities :

Responsible for the sustaining NAND product ownership and support post qualification NAND change validation and yield improvement

Test flow definition & development including Automotive specific requirement such as but not limited to Part Average Testing (PAT), Statistical Yield Limit (SYL) and Statistical Bin Limit (SBL)

Perform electrical failure analysis using state of the art bench tester, internal signal wafer probing, logic analyzer signal analysis and simulations to investigate issue root cause

Collaborate with cross-functional team to resolve NAND related system NFI (NAND Firmware Interaction) issues and provide solution/fix

Collaborate with various system product teams to provide system level improvement and mitigation to NAND marginalities

Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify potential yield improvement opportunities through deep understanding of system NAND media management

Requirements :

Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Computer Engineering

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Strong self-motivation and enthusiasm

Good knowledge of NAND device/design is not a pre-requisite, but would be an added advantage

Good knowledge of system firmware/design/media management is not a pre-requisite, but would be an added advantage

Desire to develop knowledge and expertise in overall NAND to System development

Strong drive and excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate complex technical ideas/concepts

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find creative solutions to difficult problems
