Senior Software Engineer Location: Remote
About Us: Spectrum Exchange is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge technologies tailored to the electromagnetic spectrum domain. Our mission is to revolutionize the way the Department of Defense manages and allocates the electromagnetic spectrum, and we are looking for a seasoned Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities: ● Feature Development: Develop, test, and deploy features for our SaaS product. ● Lifecycle Management: Guide features through the full development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, code review, testing, and deployment. ● Cloud Services: Build and manage cloud-hosted microservices and APIs. ● Collaboration: Work effectively in a startup environment, engaging with stakeholders to understand requirements and design efficient software solutions. ● Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for developed features to ensure scalability and ease of maintenance.
Qualifications: ● Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. ● Experience: 8+ years of demonstrated experience in software development, with proficiency in modern software languages and development environments.
Technical Skills:
○ Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices, such as Git and cloud architecture (AWS is a plus). ○ DevOps experience with Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Docker, and Terraform. ○ Full-stack web development experience using modern languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. ○ Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT or Claude is a plus.
Core Skills: ○ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. ○ Self-driven with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
