The Identity Health Experience team is dedicated to building a scenario health monitoring platform aimed at empowering and bringing transparency to over 800,000 Entra customers. Our platform provides near real-time monitoring and anomaly detection for mission-critical scenarios such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Conditional Access (CA). With robust alerting capabilities, we drive operational efficiency and ensure business continuity. Our customers trust us to host their mission-critical Identity and Access Management (IAM) workloads on Entra, backed by a Service Level Agreement (SLA) of 99.999%. We are committed to supporting security and building solutions that enhance the security posture of Entra data, protecting it from bad actors. Our solutions also focus on reducing the blast radius during potential threats and providing customers with visibility into Microsoft support activities through Customer Lockbox.

**Responsibilities**
+ Leads by example and mentors others to produce extensible and maintainable code used across products.
+ Leads efforts to optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance and maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).
+ Identifies best practices and coding patterns and provides deep expertise in the coding and validation strategy.
+ Creates and applies metrics to drive the quality and stability of code, as well as appropriate coding patterns and best practices.
+ Deal with ambiguity, embrace problem solving in fast paced highly collaborative teams and strives to bring clarity and deliver the high impactful project delivery.
**Qualifications**
**Required/Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
+ OR equivalent experience.
**Other Requirements** :
+ Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
**Additional or Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
+ OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
+ OR equivalent experience.
Software Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
