About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this strategic role, you will lead the design and architecture of complex software solutions, set technical standards, and provide guidance to multiple engineering teams. You will work closely with stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals and ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance software products. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 10+ years of software development experience with a proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex software systems. Expertise: Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript. Architecture: Strong experience with microservices architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Oracle Cloud, or Azure), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Databases: Expertise in both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra). CI/CD: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Harness, Terraform. Security: Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2). Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and influence technical teams and drive projects to successful completion. WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL ● Become familiar with the code base, development processes, and deployments. ● Become familiar with the product as customers will use it. ● You may even have your first PR approved and in production.
