About The Job

The Principal Software Engineer will be responsible for leading the Strategy, Solution and implementation of finance systems primarily utilizing Oracle ERP Cloud solutions. This role demands a deep understanding of finance processes and accounting principles, strong technical skills in Oracle ERP Cloud, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of software engineers.

Requirements:

8-10 years experienceSystem Architecture & Design: Develop and oversee the architecture and design of finance systems using Oracle ERP Cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of software engineers, guiding them through complex problem-solving and project execution.Functional experience: Deep understanding of common finance functions like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Intercompany settlements etc.Integration: Design and implement integrations between Oracle ERP Cloud and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.Customization & Configuration: Solve for the needs for custom modules, extensions, and configurations within the Oracle ERP Cloud environment to meet specific business needs.Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with finance department stakeholders to gather requirements, provide solutions, and ensure alignment with business goals.Compliance & Security: Ensure that all finance systems comply with relevant regulatory requirements and security standards.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, design decisions etc.

Tools and Technologies

Proficiency in Oracle ERP Cloud modules such as Financials, Procurement, and Project Portfolio Management.Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, SQL, PL/SQL, and experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Integration Cloud.Knowledge of cloud computing, SaaS applications, and enterprise integration patterns.

Soft Skills

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Desired:

Previous AT&T Experience,  Oracle ERP Cloud certificationsPreferred Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or Sciences or equivalent experience.Expert level technical professional. Advisor on technical knowledge and ATT technologies.

Our Principal Software Engineering, earns between $141,300.00-$211,900.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
