Principal Sofware engineer-HANA XSA

Required Skills:

Overall 10+ years of SAP experience with atleast 4+ years as HANA XSA developerStrong understanding and experience with SAP HANA 2.0.In-depth knowledge of the SAP HANA XSA Engine for building and deploying applications.Expertise in HANA Modelling & HANA SQL Scripting ( Sql scripts, Sql Procedures, Calculation views, Function calls, CDS views, flowcharts etc.)Proficient in HANA XSA development ( HANA XSA, HANA CAP, Node JS, XSA Cockpit, HANA Cockpit, JavaScript, Job Scheduling )Proficient in HANA XSA & DB Security concepts (Roles, Privileges etc)Familiarity with HANA CLI for administrative tasks and script automation.Experience working with SLT ( Data Load & Replication)Must know CI/CD and GITKnowledge of tools & IDE like Web IDE, VS Code, HANA Studio, Postman, App DPerformance analysis and optimizationMust have good troubleshooting skillsWorking experience with SAP ECC & knowledge of SAP tablesExperience working with OData ServicesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to work on new technologies with on-the-job learning.

Good to have:

ABAP Programming experienceSAP ODATA Gateway objects developmentUI development skills – SAP UI5

Responsibilities:

Coordinate with the onsite/offshore functional team & other technical teamsProvide technical expertise for new business requirements and also suggest value additions to existing landscape.Configure, Maintain & Monitor data replication objects and transformation processes in SLT.Develop, implement, and maintain applications using HANA XSA or HANA CAP.Use Node.js for backend development and server-side scripting.Employ HANA CLI for administrative tasks and script automation.Perform data modeling and SQL scripting on SAP HANA.Build and deploy applications using SAP HANA XS/XSA Engine.Develop front-end interfaces using SAPUI5, JavaScript, and Node.js.Leverage expertise in SAP HANA 2.0 for development projects.Responsible for Trouble shooting, Performance analysis and optimization
