Primary Role
PRINCIPAL SOLUTION ENGINEER - SAP EAM (MULTIPLE OPENINGS)
American Water Works Service Company, Inc. (Camden, NJ) to be responsible for the requirements analysis and detailed design of SAP business processes for configuration and testing of SAP Enterprise Asset Management (“EAM”) and work management applications as well as related deployment activities. Specific duties include: contributing to the design process, implementation, and ongoing enhancements for the SAP EAM Module and integrated applications; providing subject matter expertise on SAPs best practices for implementing SAP EAM business processes; leading workshops in gathering business requirements, influencing adoption of standard SAP processes, identifying and handling gaps while minimizing development effort; providing SAP sustainability solutions covering Work Management, Environment Health and Safety (“EH&S”), and Plant Maintenance (“PM”) modules; working with non-SAP work management solutions; preparing functional specification and interface design documents; delivering comprehensive SAP solutions to the business; and analyzing existing custom developments, objects, and modifications, and evaluating the impact of changes of them. Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a directly related field. Must have five (5) years of progressively responsible prior work experience in the position offered or related designing, developing, and configuring SAP EAM and SAP PM, EH&S. Must know (through academic training or work experience) SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP Solution Manager; SAP requirements gathering, preparation of detailed design documents, business blueprint, preparing deployment plan, conducting UAT and training to end users; SAP ERP implementations, rollouts, and upgrades; and preparing functional specifications for SAP EH&S functionality to satisfy requirements and designing solutions using SAP technical development tools.
