We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Specialist, Contracts within the Strategic Sensors and Precision Strike Organization. This role will be supporting two programs within the Upper-Tier Missile Defense (UTMD) program area, providing contract management support of significant scope and complexity, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements for proposal, negotiation and contract execution.

We are seeking a highly motivated, well-organized individual who enjoys working on collaborative, cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities will include developing creative approaches to solving problems while employing sound change management and communication skills. Travel may be required to support customer meetings.

This position is a hybrid role to collaborate and support the program team located in Woburn, MA

 

What You Will Do:

Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company goals, and comply with company policies.

Professionally represent Raytheon on contractual transactions and work closely with customers to develop and maintain business relationships.

Support the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contract execution, as well as general contract administration.

Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure the contract is followed compliantly.

Identify, mitigate, and resolve contractual issues as they may arise.

Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising management of contractual rights and obligations as well as possible mitigation of contractual/program risks.

 Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, finance, or related field and a minimum 5 years of prior experience, OR an Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience

Experience with US Government (USG) contracts administration / management including proposals, cost structures, performance requirements, delivery schedules, terms and conditions or other closely related contracts experience

Experience in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and / or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), and equivalent U.S. Government regulations

The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
