None/Not RequiredThe Customer Property Team supporting Collins Aerospace, Power & Controls Business Unit, based in Rockford, IL has an opening for a self-motivated Customer Property Compliance Lead who is a team player able to support company compliance to customer & government property requirements, and the property organization’s procedures and processes. This person will work closely with the central property organization, Government customer, Prime customers, Government auditing agencies and internal stake holders.
This position will be onsite and reports to the Business Unit Property Manager.
What You Will Do
Assure compliance to contract requirements, regulations, and RTX/Collins/Site policies and procedures for managing customer propertyPerform transactional activity and reporting for designated programs as requiredInterface with site leadership and functional personnel to ensure compliance with established processes and proceduresSupport internal and third party assessments/audits and drive corrective actions identified resulting from those activitiesEstablish, implement, and monitor designated business plans assigned by managementGenerate and provide accurate and timely property status reports and metrics for management and internal and external customersPerform all property closeout activities including any disposition actions and/or loss of customer property reports for assigned programsRoutinely assess procedures and provide suggestions for streamlining and improving processesPartner with Contract Management organization to ensure property management related requirements are executed for assigned contracts/programsAbility to conduct and/or schedule property management compliance and awareness training sessions at all levelsComply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements, and support EH&S efforts to improve practicesComply with applicable Global Trade Compliance (GTC) policies and proceduresQualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experienceQualifications We Prefer
Previous Government Property Management experience preferredPhysical inventory and material handling experience is preferredMust be able to lift 25 lbsNational Property Management Association Certification preferred - CPPS, CPPA, or CPPMFAR, DFARS, and ability to read and apply regulatory requirementsProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Experience with SAP (or comparable ERP system) transactions; MS SharePoint; SunflowerAbility to work in a team environment and drive changeAbility to review data with a highly analytical approach to identify process disconnects or potential system errorsWorks to influence parties within and outside of work area at an operational level regarding policies, practices and proceduresCommunicates with parties within and outside of own department. The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
