What You'll Contribute

The Principal Specialist, Post Default Strategy & Execution will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the activities related to post-default loan management.
 

What You'll Do

Provide support to buyers of loan purchasers including but not limited to fulfilling media and documentation, generating and supplying amortization histories, and completing affidavit requests.Prepare and maintain accurate account records and reports related to post-default activities.Track the completion and validation of timely and accurate payments.Monitor and track the progress of post-default cases, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and timelines.Review and maintain all loan sale documentation and other relevant legal documents to support the post-default process.Provide support and guidance to internal teams around post-default processes and activities, working cross-functionally when performing research necessary tracking related to servicing disputes, complaints, fraud, collections, finance, and other internal business units associated with loan sales.Help identify process improvement activities supporting loan sales.

What you have

Minimum education, skills and experience required.

Solid understanding of default management processes, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, and loss mitigation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and loan management systems.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred education, skills, and experience.

High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.2+ years of experience in default management, loan servicing, or a related field.
