Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is looking for you to join our team as a Principal Pricing Analyst (Level 3) or Senior Principal Pricing Analyst (Level 4) based out of Baltimore, MD.  This position may be staffed as a hybrid role from the Baltimore, MD area.  This position offers the 9/80 Schedule. 

** While onsite is preference, full-time telework may be considered for this role.

What You’ll Get to Do:

Pricing Analyst will support the Strategic Initiatives Team in the Pricing & Estimating Department.  This individual must be able to function in a fast-paced proposal environment, as well as collaborate with business management counterparts and capture/proposal teams to assist in the independent assessment of pricing and win strategies of high-visibility captures. In addition, the position will provide cost volume and pricing & estimating support to strategic proposals as required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Participate in the Corporate & Sector level Independent Cost Evaluation (ICE) process

Support risk and opportunity assessment, quantification, and analysis during the proposal process

Identify and evaluate proposal risk issues in cost estimates, terms and conditions, and all other business management related functions

Provide strategic proposal support during the Pre-RFP stages, RFP execution, and RFP Cost Volume development

Develop cost models to support proposal efforts and overall pricing strategy

Research and analyze historical data to understand cost trends that can be applied to proposal estimates

Present and brief estimating and pricing issues and risks to senior and executive leadership

Grow the awareness and knowledge base of risk and confidence assessment training to multiple sector locations and program teams

Support pricing activities for sole source and competitive proposals as required

Support proposal Independent Assessment process

This requisition may be filled as a Principal Pricing Analyst or a Senior Principal Pricing Analyst.

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Pricing Analyst:

Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of Pricing/Finance/Contracts/Business experience -OR- a Master’s Degree with 4 years of experience in Pricing/Finance/Contracts/Business.

Comprehensive knowledge of pricing, contracts, and business management

Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills

Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and other applicable government regulations.

Basic Qualifications for a Senior Principal Pricing Analyst:

Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of Pricing/Finance/Contracts/Business experience -OR- a Master’s Degree with 8 years of experience in Pricing/Finance/Contracts/Business.

Comprehensive knowledge of pricing, contracts, and business management

Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills

Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and other applicable government regulations.

Preferred Qualifications for both levels:

Advanced Degree (Master's)

Risk and quantitative analysis skills

Active Secret Security Clearance

Experience supporting Cost Volume Teams, ensuring RFP compliance

Proficient in use of ProPricer

Ability to prioritize effectively and complete work timely in a deadline driven environment

Excellent communication and coordination skills

Salary Range: $80,600.00 - $127,000.00Salary Range 2: $99,900.00 - $157,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
