Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking software engineers with cloud experience to develop and maintain capabilities in support of a new defense program called CHAIN (C4ISR Holistic Analysis of Networks). CHAIN has been designated by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) to become the standard C4ISR intelligence and analysis tool across the entire DoD intelligence community (DoD IC). CHAIN will be an entirely cloud-based DevSecOps platform based on Platform One’s Big Bang. It will feature the latest in Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) projects and tools. Candidates should have a track record and interest in working with containerized cloud technologies to solve complex challenges and deliver results to support today’s modern warfighter and C4ISR intelligence analysts. The CHAIN program is being managed from the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
This position may be filled as a Principal or Sr. Principal Cloud Software Engineer based on the qualifications below.
Basic Qualifications for a Principal Cloud Software Engineer:
