Qualifications
Basic Qualifications for Principal Linux Systems Administrator:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University/College and 6 years of related experience, or a Master's with 4 years of related experience; an additional 4 years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree.Experience with configuring, administering, and maintaining Red Hat or other Linux systemsActive certification at DOD 8570 IAT Level II (e.g. Security+) or greaterMust have the ability to obtain, and maintain, a Special Access Programs (SAP/SAR) level clearance as a condition of continued employmentClearance: Candidate must currently have, and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government DOD Secret ClearanceBasic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Linux Systems Administrator:

Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)Experience with obtaining and maintaining authority to operate (ATO)Experience with patching systems, scanning for vulnerabilities (Security Center/Nessus, SCAP), hardening systems (DISA STIGs), auditing log files, and updating virus definitionsExperience as an administrator for Red Hat or similar Linux systems within a DoD contextSalary Range: $97,500.00 - $146,300.00Salary Range 2: $120,900.00 - $181,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
