FocusKPI is looking for a Strategy and Business Operations Associate to join the Strategy and Business Operations work management team, in one of our clients, a high-tech, SaaS company.  The main function of the strategy and business operations associate is to drive strategy, growth, and own projects from inception to execution and delivery Work Location: Remote - anywhere in the USA (PST is preferable) Duration: 6 months contract  Pay Range: $70/hr to $78/hr Responsibilities: + Partner directly with product, go-to-market, analytics and finance teams to help prioritize product roadmaps, deliver strategic recommendations and analyses, and develop product strategies that drive growth for the business + Drive strategic decision-making and help inform business decisions through analysis, research and insights + Drive and contribute to the monthly process to monitor performance, including driving the product metrics review cadence and "quarterbacking" a cross-functional team to diagnose problems when they occur + Build financial and analytical models to identify actionable insights, size impact, and develop recommendations to influence and drive consensus across functional leaders + Take ownership of projects from start to delivery to ensure strategies are creative and offer high quality and impactful recommendations. Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics + Define appropriate goals to track progress against strategic objectives Qualifications: + Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, human resources or relevant + 6+ years related experience required + Experience with financial analysis and business case development + Experience with strategy development and providing recommendations + Proficiency in financial modeling and building revenue and cost drivers + Ability to apply financial and mathematical principles to work as needed + Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and manage one's time + Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel + Experience with storyboarding (telling story through content) + Strategic finance background will be a huge plus   Thank you!
