Principal C/C++ SW Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a professional Embedded Software Engineer to execute complete embedded software development lifecycle. The goal is to create scalable and optimized software solutions, with a strong focus on reusability to create the future platform of an ADAS interior sensing environment.

 

What You Will Do

Be a key driver to technical solutions, architecture and designs of our INCABIN / ADAS productsWork with architects, engineers, designers, testers and managers in multiple locations as needed to help integrate and productize the solutionPerform code reviews and other activities to ensure high-quality resultsParticipate and drive solutions in a dynamic and highly demanding environmentElicitate, analyze, write and adapt software requirementsDesign modules that will meet the requirements of today and scale up for future requirementsCreate and document software and module’s architectureStay up to date with current trends and technologiesOptimize existing code base for different HW environments

What You Need

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineer/Computer Science or related6+ years of experience in C/C++ in embedded systems considering automotive standardsStrong skills in POSIX (Linux/QNX/Android) and proficient in real time multi-threaded software design and developmentExperience in middleware and communication layers, architecture and methodologyFamiliar with UML design tools, preferably Enterprise ArchitectFamiliar with Agile development methodologies and test-driven developmentDeep knowledge of embedded device constraints and how to root cause or debug issues through the entire SW development life cycleExperience in system performance optimizationExperience in HW bring-up of e.g. Camera sensors, ISPs, DisplaysFamiliar with design patternsExperienced in creation of high-quality cross platform reusable software   Self-motivated, result driven individual, must be passionate about the workFluent in both written and spoken English

What is Nice to Have

Hands on ADAS experienceKnowledge of git/Gerrit , cmake build environmentGood interface and protocol knowhow especially for ethernet, USB, GMSL2, CSI2 interfaceExperience with real time frameworks, preferably OpenVxGood knowledge about ARM, DSP and SoC design.Experience in Free-RTOS, OSEC or similar operating systemsKnowledge of hardware – Understand hardware schematics, debugging skills
