MITRE’s Multi-Int Exploitation Mission Enabler department effectively combines the deep technical knowledge required to develop capabilities with critical domain knowledge to harness and shape those capabilities to meet multiple sponsor mission needs. We seek motivated individuals who are interested in applying sensors, AI/ML systems, and data engineering for the exploitation of multiple data types to include remote sensing data. Remote Sensing data refers to those collected using infrared imagery (OPIR), hyperspectral imagery (HSI), radar (SAR/GMTI), full motion video (FMV), Wide Are Motion Imagery (WAMI), and 3D data from a range of sources.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The advanced analytics platform technical lead is responsible for leading and implementing the technical vision for an advanced analytics platform which ingests, processes, and disseminates large datasets for the Intelligence Community and DoDManages the platform’s security posture, performance, compute and storage capacity planning, and endpoint infrastructureWorks closely with sponsor leadership, data science teams, managed service providers, and mission users to ensure new initiatives align with organizational vision and strategic objectivesCollaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions to improve performance, reliability, and scalabilityReviews issues and makes recommendations for process improvementsDevelopment of technical engineering reports geared for both technical and non-technical audiences / decision makersMaintain systems and documentation as needed for audits and complianceFull Time On-site requiredBasic Qualifications:
Top Secret clearance with polygraphTypically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 7 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 4 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experienceProven record of managing infrastructure systems for on-premise and cloud and hosted environments.Excellent ability to collaborate with other IT disciplines (e.g. Storage, Platform, Application) to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems within a system of systemsPrior professional experience in the US Intelligence, Space, or Defense CommunityStrong interpersonal, collaboration, written and verbal communication skillsStrong Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)This position requires an on-site requirement of 5 days a week on-sitePreferred Qualifications:
