The Principal Team Leader, Emerging Talent will lead a team of professionals focused on identifying, attracting, and recruiting pipelines of emerging talent for internships, co-ops, fellowships, and field talent programs.  This role will be responsible for designing the strategic infrastructure, systems, and processes to enable cutting-edge recruiting programs in support of existing and future talent needs. 

 

The Principal Team Leader oversees Chick-fil-A's co-op/internship program to ensure a best-in-class experience.  This role is also responsible for the development of our talented team to execute on determined strategies, as well as performing budget oversight and management.

 

The Principal Team Leader will report to the Director, Employer Brand & Emerging Talent.  This role will partner closely with Talent Acquisition (Sourcing & Selection Leaders, Talent Enablement Leader), as well as teams in Learning and Development and Launch Support (Field Talent Solutions & Leadership Development Program).

Responsibilities Collaborate with TA leadership and peers to drive a cohesive and inclusive emerging talent experience strategy that is aligned with the business and focused on building a solid pipeline of diverse talent.Develop and implement a well-defined innovative internship/co-op program in conjunction with peers on the Sourcing and Selection team.  Identify opportunities to continuously evolve the program to deliver high quality and developmental experiences for program participants while driving a culture of conversion and enhancing brand reputation.Oversee onboarding processes for Interns and Co-ops and coordinate training and onboarding events to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.Partner with stakeholders in Launch Support and Talent Development to effectively identify talent needs and develop strategies for attracting program participants.Partner with internal stakeholders to understand their priorities, assess trends, use internal data, and analyze market research to develop, implement, and complete customized program strategies to attract outstanding, diverse talent.Monitor and evaluate the success of early talent initiatives through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.Drive alignment and implement changes to experiences to meet the needs of the business.Champion Diversity, Equity and Inclusion focus throughout the recruiting process (postings, branding, and event selection).Manage internal and external stakeholders while working collaboratively to deliver on goals and mutually beneficial partnerships to enhance recruitment efforts.Inclusively lead an outstanding team with a focus on growth and development for all, empower team members and promote teamworkEnsure compliance with all legal aspects of Talent Acquisition function Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired6 years minimum of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications SPHR Certification10+ years of professional experience

6 years of talent acquisition or HR experience or equivalent experience with 3+ years focused on inclusive hiring and recruiting programs

3 years' experience in people management and leading teams by creating a high-performance environment build around creativity and empowerment

Solid background in a business partnership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional teaming

Solid understanding of industry trends, competitors, and related legislation

Experience in using an Application Tracking System

Knowledge of recruiting systems, models, methodologies, and operations

Intuitive, conceptual, systems-focused thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience preparing and delivering executive level briefings to inform business leaders on the progress of initiatives and metrics

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders

Proven ability to navigate difficult discussions and proactively drive strategy

Passion for developing emerging talent, networking, and community building

Experience leveraging data sets and analytical skills to assess and measure results; use data to identify trends and key take-aways
