Principal Technical Program Manager
Principal Technical Program Manager - (employer: Sirius XM Radio LLC; job location: New York, NY) - Collaborate with Technical Operations and Engineering teams to drive technology projects, ensuring that objectives are achieved efficiently, effectively and within prescribed project timelines. Work with various stakeholders across the organization to understand and anticipate their needs, adjusting project plans as necessary to address them. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce inefficiencies, and maintain high quality standards. Track, analyze, and communicate project risks and opportunities, engaging appropriate resources to address them and mitigate potential impacts. Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure that infrastructures are aligned with the company’s technical and business objectives. Communicate regular updates to senior management and stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress. Provide leadership and guidance to teams, fostering an environment that encourages collaboration, growth, and innovation. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology plus five years of progressive post-Bachelor’s experience in the position offered or as Project Manager. All required experience must have included project/program management for a technology-focused organization using project management methodologies Waterfall and Agile, project management tools, and knowledge of systems engineering and network engineering; documenting technical workflows and process optimizations; setting up project and program management plans and executing them within agreed timelines and budgets for complex projects and initiatives; coordinating project work across cross-functional teams totaling at least 50 employees; implementing project governance and providing project status updates to stakeholders; implementing quality assurance and control initiatives; and controlling and tracking project issues and risks, mitigating them, and escalating issues to senior management. #LI-DNI Telecommuting is permitted from any location in the U.S. Salary: $220,000-$230,000 /year.
