As a Prime Video technologist, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state-of-the-art experiences for our customers. Key job responsibilities * Work with several teams of software engineers, including their projects, performance, and career growth * Liaise closely withs stakeholders in Product Management, Business/Marketing, and other functions to ensure you’re building the right products and measuring their success * Clearly communicate project roadmaps with your team, management, and principal stakeholders and deliver from ideation to launch * Work with peers across teams to determine scope and estimate development effort * Lead systems design, architecture, and scaling discussions * Argue for the right outcomes with data, conviction, and diplomacy A day in the life As part of this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work across many groups within and outside Prime Video while delivering new features to improve the global customer experience. You will also need to frequently engage business, product and technology leaders and be a strong advocate for our customers. The software teams you will work with are mostly located on the US west coast, but you will partner with teams across the US and UK/EU. You are ideally located near one of our large Prime Video office hubs in Seattle or LA. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market.
