About Fixed Networks

Our Fixed Networks (FN) business group provides an array of “gigabit to the home” solutions to deliver data access to our communication service provider (CSP) customers. This includes Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) as well as 5G fixed wireless access (FWA), xDSL and cable upgrades. We build solutions that don’t stop at the home but also bring that gigabit experience into the home using our meshed Wi-Fi solution.

Qualifications:

Skill Set:

Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or related areas

12+ years of strong experience of architecting software/IT/telecom solutions

Experience in successfully working with global organizations with strong communication ability. Strong motivational and technical leadership skills

Prior Experience in Network Management Solutions and Access Technologies

Expert in software engineering practices like DevOps, Agile Methodologies, Continuous Integration, Test Automation, Micro-Services, Xaas models

Expertise in relevant technologies including Java/J2EE, Linux, DBMS, Web Services, Cloud & Virtualization, Kubernetes, Containerization, SDN, Data Analytics

Expertise in next generation management & control plane protocols like NETCONF/YANG, IPFIX, GRPC, etc.

Prior experience in working with multi-site teams

The responsibilities include: 
-       Design and code using cutting edge technologies (J2EE, Microservices, Kubernetes, Elastic search, React/AngularJS, SDN/NFV etc) 
-      Review product requirements, and translate them to design proposals 
-      Quickly prototype and validate design approaches and contribute to evolution of product architecture
-      Mentor and coach engineering team distributed across locations for efficient design, high performance and quality
