Your Impact:

We’re looking to welcome a Principal/Lead Technical Support Specialist to support a diverse portfolio of Documentum customers. In this role, you will act as a senior customer analyst and advocate to assist our customers in resolving their technical issues. With your strong technical expertise, sharp analytical skills, in-depth knowledge of Documentum products, and proven experience working directly with enterprise customers, you’ll be an invaluable asset to our team.

 

What the role offers:

Working closely with the customer’s IT staff for any issues on the prescribed product line(s) that require troubleshooting or problem isolation/resolutionDirectly accessing other senior technical resources at OpenText’s support facilities for assistance with problem management.Troubleshoot complex customer issues involving multiple layers of technology and recommend and implement various layers of tracing (Documentum, application server, database, network, etc.) to isolate problems.Collaboration with cross-functional teams (such as Engineering, Professional Services, Account Renewals & Product Management) to resolve our customer needsWorking directly with OpenText engineering and product management to report product defects and assist with escalated customer issuesInvolved in the mentoring and upskilling of less experienced colleagues

 

What you need to succeed:

Extensive experience in Documentum or related EIM technologiesDeep understanding of the Documentum product suite, particularly administration and troubleshootingSolid knowledge of OS System Administration (Windows Server and Unix.)Experience with database administration and performance tuning (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)Highly organized with the ability to balance multiple projects and escalations in a fast-paced environmentPrevious experience with networking protocols, architecture, and devices such as load balancersExperience with enterprise software solution architectures and enterprise software deployment in the cloudFluent in English
