Your Team, Your Impact
As a test development principal engineer in the Operations business group, you will test features on the silicon semiconductor chips Marvell produces for As a Principal Test Development Engineer at Marvell, you will be a key player in the Operations business group, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) solutions for ASICs and high-speed optical interconnect devices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality and performance of Marvell’s semiconductor products.As a Principal Test Development Engineer at Marvell, you will be a key player in the Operations business group, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) solutions for ASICs and high-speed optical interconnect devices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality and performance of Marvell’s semiconductor products.What You Can Expect
Define test plans and design test hardware for production and characterization.Implement test programs for new silicon bring-up, sampling, qualification, and production.Collaborate with design and product engineering teams to ensure testability and meet customer specifications.Develop new testing strategies and write code to enhance testing capabilities.Ensure no underperforming units are shipped by rigorously testing semiconductor chips.Lead and execute all test engineering activities related to the New Product Introduction (NPI) plan.What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.10+ years of experience in test development engineering.Solid understanding of scan and MBIST DFT test methodologies.Expertise in designing complex and high-performance ATE hardware.Experience with testing high-speed interfaces (NRZ/PAM4).Strong knowledge of mixed signal ATE principles.Proficiency with Advantest 93K or Uflex ATE platforms.Excellent problem-solving skills and a technically curious mindset.Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
122,300 - 181,040, $ per annumThe successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
