Your Team, Your Impact

As a test development engineer in the Operations business group, you will test features on the silicon semiconductor chips Marvell produces for internal and external customers. You will make sure we don’t ship out any underperforming units. You’ll work closely with design to make sure their chip features are testable and that the results meet the customer’s specifications. You may even have to write new code or develop new testing strategies when our chips outpace the capabilities of current testing equipment.

What You Can Expect

As an ATE Engineer, you willDevelop test programs and hardware on the ATE (Automated Testing Equipment) for characterization and production testing of very high-performance networking semiconductor devices.Need to be able to utilize the ATE equipment tools and capabilities to optimize its performance without compromising the quality of outgoing products.Be responsible for developing and tracking the fully life cycle of the project from beginning to its final completion.Be developing test plans and supporting various phases of manufacturing.Be responsible for design, development and verification of new firmware features.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 5-10 years of related professional experience OR Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3-5 years of experience.Skill in Advantest 93K ATE testerKnowledge of high speed ATE hardware design (Serdes, PCIE)Skill in programming/scripting (C/C++ or Python or Perl)Knowledge of Digital and Mixed Signal design and testDemonstrate excellent written and oral communication skillsDemonstrate project management, teamwork and leadership necessary for successful project completion.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

120,950 - 181,200, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
