Description The Resilience Infrastructure and Solutions team reduces the number and duration of customer impacting availability events. As part of its mission, the team undertakes disruptive testing to AWS infrastructure and services in non-production environments to identify potential availability gaps and verify that past findings have been addressed. Key job responsibilities -Build and operate a program for executing large-scale, disruptive tests on non-production Region-scale AWS infrastructure -Partner with AWS service and infrastructure technical leaders on test planning, execution, and follow ups -Dive deep into technical findings, incident response, and follow ups with AWS service teams -Review test strategy and results with senior AWS leaders as part of quarterly reviews -Guide automation and test strategies that maximize utilization of tests infrastructure while reducing builder toil Basic Qualifications - 7+ years of technical product or program management experience - 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience - 5+ years of software development experience - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Preferred Qualifications - 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules - Demonstrated expertise operating/engaging with large scale systems/networks. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
