Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining user assistance and training documentation for the Java SE products and features.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 8+ years relevant experience as user assistance developer, technical writer, or related field. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degrees.  Suggested majors include English, technical writing, communications, instructional design, software engineering, or computer science. Strong English communication skills; ability to present represents complex ideas and topics to multiple audiences. Ability to act as Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Experience and understanding of the following technologies: Content Management, JIRA, Technical Documentation, Technical Writing, Oxygen, DITA, CSS, XML, Markdown, HTML, XHTML, Copyediting, Publication, Version Control, Accessibility, Information Architecture, UX, Java. Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly
