Job title: Principle Shielding Team Lead

Salary Range: £60,000 to £75,000 (depending on experience)
Benefits: 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Pension Scheme - Pension Matched up to 6%, Bonus of up to 8%
Location: Warrington
Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Role & Responsibilities:
* Supervise the work of junior technical specialists within the same discipline.
* Business Development responsibilities within the nuclear and defence industry
* Support the expansion and growth of the Shielding and Criticality team
* Contribute to the enhancement of existing shielding procedures.
* Lead a technical team
* Author shielding reports and related calculation notes, and verification of others' work
* Integrate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that shielding issues are identified across projects and that consistent approaches are adopted, and timely support provided to all relevant project stakeholders.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
* HNC in Science or equivalent qualifications with experience
UK National Security Vetting Status - Applicants must be able to obtain UKSV SC Clearance.
