SUMMARY:

Responsible for the administration of the Oakville Quality Management System in accordance with AS9100D and Transport Canada CAR 561 requirements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the Oakville Site Lead Auditor in the overall administration of AS9100D QMS and Transport Canada CAR 561Support Associate Director of Quality and Senior Quality Assurance Manager in the flow down of Policy Deployment initiatives that impact QMS Create New and/or Revise LS Oakville QMS Work Instructions, Standard Work and maintain all LS-OAK QMS documents and Transport Canada CAR 561 Manual to current requirements Support Division Quality with the administration of QMS documents when required Responsible for the scheduling, preparation, release, tracking of all AS9100/CAR 561/Product/Process  internal audits Co-lead a team of trained internal auditors from various functional disciplines to perform internal auditsReview audit results, coordinate post audit activities, assign corrective actions, sign-off on completed audit checklistsManage internal/external Corrective Action System from issuance, tracking  of implementation to final closureSupport all 2nd and 3rd party audits and issue and track all resulting corrective actions to closureDistribute weekly Corrective Action reports to all process owners in order to drive timely completion of all tasksParticipate in the administration of FOD council and support implementation of FOD initiatives with process ownersGenerate annual internal audit summary report for Senior Management reviewProvide Smartsolve Pilgrim/QIM  training and Document/CAPA administrative support to all LS Oakville employeesAssist all LS Oakville functional disciplines with the creation of department work instructions/standard work when requiredProvide AS9100D/CAR 561 internal auditor, QMS related or procedure training as requiredProvide Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action training to the organization when requiredPerform annual 2nd party audits internationally, if required. Perform other duties as required

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

University degree or college diploma in a related technical discipline. Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in QMS in a highly regulated environment. IAQG sanctioned AS9100D auditor certification preferred Experience in auditing procedures, processes (including special) ideally in AS9100 environment Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required Planning and organization skills with strong attention to details Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), ability to work with multiple stake holders Strong analysis and problem solving skills. Coaching and facilitation ability Multitasking and time management skillsIdeally, an individual willing to grow in the role
