Job DescriptionThe Print, Copy & Binding Technician (Duplicating Machine Operator) will be responsible for the following primary job functions at CMI's customer site in Atlanta, GA. This is not a remote position; all work is accomplished at the physical work location.
The hourly rate for this position is $17.20.
Key Job Functions
Produce large volume of document copies including letter, reports, directives, articles and manuals (i.e. shrink wrap, punch, cut, trim, staple, comb, tab, insert, etc)Operate one or more photocopying, photographic, mimeograph and duplicating machines.Operate small binding machines, performing clerical duties pertaining to printing, binding, recording, delivering, and collecting materialOperate reproduction equipment in the Copy Center to reproduce the number of copies neededReceive and process service calls/emails, general maintenance of the Multifunctional DevicesOperate all equipment in addition to bindery/fulfillment (i.e., shrink-wrap, punch, cut, trim, staple, comb, tab, insert, etc.)Provide general maintenance support for all MFDs in the Copy Centers (i.e., clearing jams, loading paper, replacing toner, calibrating, oil, cleaning glass, etc.).Upon completion of the work addressed on the Copy Request Form, call the requestor for pickup or delivery of the completed job.Maintain all original Copy Request Forms on file.Promptly notify the customer and the TM, if the job will not be completed by expected date and time.Schedule high priority or rush jobs when necessary for Customer managementInform TM when high priority scheduled jobs adversely impacts routine turnaround time.Address conflicts concerning copy job priorities with TM.Notify TM of items that cannot be copied in-house.Place requests for equipment maintenance, service and repair with the appropriate vendor if the problem is determined to be beyond expertise to resolve.Other related duties and tasks as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent1 - 3 years of related experience requiredMust be reliable and professionalStrong customer service skillsAbility to spend much of the day on his/her feet. Must be able to work quickly with hands and have good hand/eye coordinationUnderstand the methods/procedures for the handling of the Copy Center and related equipment.Must have the ability to program and operate high volume, computerized copiers and e-copy machines.Additional Information
