Job Description:
Ripley’s Believe It or Not! is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Print Production Coordinator to oversee and coordinate the production process for our Annual Book and backlist titles. This role requires an individual with strong project management skills, an in-depth understanding of the print and shipping industries, and the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure timely and efficient production, shipping, and distribution of our books. The Print Production Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet high standards and are delivered on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate the entire print production process for Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Annual Book and backlist titles, including managing timelines and vendor relationships.Liaise with the editorial, design, and other internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and alignment across all stages of the production process.Communicate effectively with printing and shipping vendors to facilitate the smooth ordering, production, and shipping of book titles.Reconcile final invoices with initial quotes to ensure accuracy and verify all print production costs are in line with budget expectations.Produce and maintain weekly sales reports to track progress, sales, and inventory.Upload and manage Annual Book files on the sales portal for internal and external access.Calculate shipping orders, logistics, and container quantities to ensure timely and efficient delivery to customers and retailers.Monitor shipping schedules and resolve any potential issues to avoid delays or disruptions in distribution.Ensure that all products meet quality standards before shipment and address any quality control concerns.Assist in identifying and resolving any issues related to printing or shipping discrepancies and work with vendors to troubleshoot and provide solutions.

Qualifications:

Experience in print production and logistics, preferably within the publishing or retail industry.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external vendors.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and familiar with content management systems or sales portals.Ability to analyze costs and manage budgets effectively.
