This position is responsible for setting up their print/copy production machine to produce scheduled jobs, quality control, daily reporting.
Responsibilities
Operate various printers – high speed roll-fed production printers, high speed production black & white printers, production color printers, digital production printers, cut sheet printer/copiers
Operate auxiliary finishing equipment – electric guillotine cutter, slitter/cutter/creaser, high-capacity paper drill, laminator, various binding machines (coil, comb, tape), shrink wrapping machine, glue padding, and print job breakdown.
Assist with inventory print/copy/finishing – maintain proper stock levels, re-stock shelves, pull pallets, unload roll stock, and cut sheet product from pallets.
Reprint process – Rerun jobs damaged in the inserting process or returned from the mail house or with quality issues.
Assist with email management – receiving jobs/orders, communicating job/order status, receive information and specifications
Quality check – check for image quality, job accuracy, and deadlines (Service Level Agreement).
Machine maintenance – clean and prepare inkjet systems, liquid and dry waste ink disposal, re-web roll fed printers, diagnose print and finishing equipment downtime.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in a fast-paced production environment is Preferred.
Prior experience that required focus on searching for and resolving errors quickly is preferred.
Computer literacy required
Basic math skills required (production reports)
Strong time management, attention to detail and organization skills.
Flexibility in work schedule to work overtime when needed is required.
The starting pay range for this position is:
$19.11 - $25.48Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
