Job Description
Job Summary: The Print Production Specialist provides on demand printing, document finishing, fulfillment and stationery replenishment for corporate, field and store personnel. The Print Production Specialist oversees the entire print production process, from receiving design files to ensuring the final printed materials meet quality standards, customer specifications, and expectations. Tasks include managing print jobs, selecting appropriate printing options, troubleshooting equipment issues, maintaining quality control, and collaborating with all levels of the corporate structure to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Principal Duties:
• Print, finish and fulfill requests submitted to the Print shop according to customer specifications. Requests are often submitted on an as needed basis but are also scheduled on a weekly or monthly basis.
• Monitor / maintain supply inventory for both the Print shop and corporate fleet copiers/printers. Prepare supply order requisitions within the defined monthly supply budget. Maintain relationships with supply vendors to ensure material availability and pricing remains competitive and cost effective.
• Perform finishing services such as folding, cutting, lamination, bindery, and padding.
• Establish and maintain an updated pricelist of all Print shop supplies used to print or finish customer requests to recoup costs through the monthly departmental charge back process.
• Educate customers on efficient printing practices and green methods to maintain cost effectiveness and environmental standards. Provide production costs and timelines for each print request.
• Operate all current and future pieces of equipment using safe practices. Monitor / maintain all equipment to ensure optimal performance and service standards are met. Research new equipment and processes to keep the Print shop at the forefront of technology.
• Train additional associates to fill in when the primary Print Production Specialist is unavailable.
• Develop a strong working knowledge of USPS and UPS shipping practices.
• Prepare communications from Marketing, Public Relations, Store Operations, Internal Care, and the Contact Center for weekly store distribution. Satisfy inquiries from store associates and act as a resource for printed materials on an as needed basis.
• Additional tasks as assigned by Mail Center Supervisor and or Team Lead.

Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred, some college a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Publisher
• SAP experience or equivalent software knowledge
• Working knowledge of Adobe PageMaker, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat
• Experience with Fiery Command Workstation software is a plus
