What does a Print Program Manager do at Hogarth?
The Print Production Manager works with the packaging and localization teams to produce flawless packaging materials. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of all aspects of print production design and will be working alongside a talented team of mechanical artists and stakeholder partners. On a daily basis, you'll be working in a fast-paced, fun environment, managing print ready mechanicals. This is a role for a collaborative individual who is highly organized, extremely detail oriented, and capable of working with high expectations within flexible and demanding deadlines.
Key responsibilities:
Attend meetings to gather project print specifications for multiple projects and suppliers with in several time zones. Coordinate and review project handoffs. Track project matrices and establish handoff dates with suppliers. Partner with key stakeholders to coordinate the scope of work and create strategies to meet business needs. Assemble the resources, prioritize, and execute the plan. Be the subject matter expert over the print mechanical specifications with the ability to correct files as well as provide feedback on how to correct files. Enter and track the status of multiple program deliverables in a highly structured database. Support the collection and release of single- and multi-language files and collaborate with localization partners. Ensure template and style guidelines are followed with attention to detail to each deliverable. Create print specs to align with source template requirements and generate PDFs for print supplier proof and approval.Requirements:
3-5 years of experience managing projects on a print design or print production team at an agency, studio, or similar environment. Strong strategic and technical skills. Ability to assess complex problems and create solutions. Must possess exceptional organizational and time management skills, verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills. Experienced in FileMaker Pro, Agile, CAD, and the full Adobe Creative Suite. Demonstrate diplomacy as well as advocacy with leadership and business partners. Solutions-oriented and collaborative demeanor when working with teams. Exudes a strong work ethic and is accountable for meeting milestones. Trustworthy in a confidential environment. Supportive of company values. Meticulous attention to detail and a discerning eye for accurate work. Employs the highest level of quality and accuracy standards. Adapts easily to shifting priorities and timelines, while valuing the importance of process. Open to new ideas and taking on new responsibilities. Takes initiative to drive continuous improvement.
