RESPONSIBILITIES and AUTHORITY:

Accountable for the safety of all employees for whom they are responsible through active engagement in safety activities and provides clear, consistent communication of safe work expectations.Responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective cost savings program by evaluating current methods, techniques, procedures and processes used throughout the printing department.Oversee and ensure all department expenses are held in line with department budget.Provide support to both production and maintenance personnel.Maintain and enforce all company policies.Ensure fair and safe working environment for all personnel.Provide means of adequate training to all department personnel.Maintain professional and motivated work habits among subordinates, co-workers and supervisors.Annually establish detailed listing of capital expenditures required for upcoming year.Annually establish detailed listing of operating expenditures required for upcoming year.Responsible for showing a positive contribution to the profit/loss statement monthly.Conducting weekly operational meetings with all department personnel as needed.Attending operational meetings held between all departments throughout company.Coordinate daily production with scheduling department.Provide manning requirements to HR on any changes in manpower.Responsible for ensuring the compliance with product safety guidelinesResponsible to ensure all employees are properly trained on Berry Safety Absolutes and all other safety procedures that apply to the departmentResponsibilities and Authority include assuring compliance with federal, state, government and/or any appropriate regulatory law or guidelines. Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors preferredPast experience Printing operationsLeadership ExperienceVerbal and Written communication skillsComputer literacy Mechanically inclinedAbility to supervise employees
