**Job Title: Printing Press Operator** **Job Description** The press operator will be working alongside a press feeder to ensure production is running smoothly. Operators will need to have working knowledge of the Alcolor Water System and will be retrieving JDF files and presetting CPC 2000. Operators will also be responsible for setting up their presses in the most efficient way. **Responsibilities** + Work alongside a press feeder to ensure smooth production. + Operate and maintain the Alcolor Water System. + Retrieve JDF files and preset CPC 2000. + Set up presses efficiently. + Work with LAB values and image control via a color scanning device. + Understand plate curves and their effects on CT in 1/4 tone, mid tone, and 3/4 tone values. + Match colors and proofs accurately. **Essential Skills** + 5 years of experience running a 6-color press with aqueous coating. + Experience in the printing industry. + Ability to troubleshoot press equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working with a Heidelberg Press. + Knowledge of printing and press operations. **Why Work Here?** We offer a dynamic and fast-paced work environment that encourages growth and development.
