Priority Responder
1-800 Water Damage of NYC is currently interviewing candidates to add to our growing Emergency Response Team.  The position of Priority Responder (Fire Chaser) will respond upon real-time active emergency situations caused by fire or flooding.  The priority responder will be provided with real-time leads that are originated by company paid for services and will be expected to head to the location of the emergency as soon as the notification is received.   Once at the scene, the responder will make contact, educate, and sell our services to the affected homeowner or commercial property representative.  We are only reviewing candidates that are compassionate, have outgoing personalities, and a desire in helping others restore their property after they have been struck with unexpected loss of their home, possessions, or business.  Requirements:  Candidates must be able to provide quick response times to real-time emergency through provided lead services within an assigned geographic area. Ability to work late nights and weekends.  Day and night shifts are currently available. The successful candidate will possess outside route sales experience Experience in construction/restoration sales, public adjusting, and chasing fires are all desirable traits for our ideal applicant, along with being highly motivated including the ability to perform and produce in a fast paced, highly competitive industry. Candidates who have a track record of success in construction sales and who possess the aptitude, self-assurance, and disposition necessary to perform and deliver in the intense, competitive environment of fire chasing will be given considerable consideration. Primary duties of the responder: The Priority Responder's primary responsibility is to arrive quickly to any scene of a fire emergency to consult with property owners impacted by fire damage to enable the implementation of property recovery initiatives. The Emergency Responder will utilize fire/police calls to respond to local calls and discern the types of services needed.• Must have experience with outside route sales  • Monitors lead sources for real time activity• Responding to the emergency without direction based upon the real time lead• Educate and sell company services upon arrival at the scene immediately after notification is given• Establish and maintain working relationships with the customers/homeowners• Weekly activity to be tracked and logged for submission• Establish and maintain working relationships with local emergency response agencies and local community

***This is a Salary plus Commission based job with incentive bonuses based upon performance. Depending on the candidate's experience, expected pay range including commission and bonuses can be between $65,000- $125,000. Compensation: $65,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
