PRIVACY OFFICER
Who we’re looking for
The role is for a Privacy Officer. The individual must have a good understanding of all elements of UK Data Protection laws and regulation (including the DPA and UK GDPR), and have had some exposure to the data protection requirements of other jurisdictions. The role will be full time or 4 days per week and will be based in London.

The team
The role will sit within the firm’s Legal function, working closely alongside teams in Compliance, Human Resources, Operations, IT, Risk, Governance and Information Security.
What you’ll do
Primary responsibilities will include:
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
Good understanding of all elements of UK Data Protection laws and regulation (including the DPA, PECR and UK GDPR), in addition to experience in relation to the data protection requirements of other jurisdictions.An ability to plan and prioritise workloads against a backdrop of changing priorities.Experience working (whether in employment, on secondment or as a consultant) as part of an in-house legal or data privacy compliance function in a financial services environment, in a role wholly dedicated to data privacy.The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
Experience in advising asset management and private banking businesses on data-related matters, either as an English-law qualified solicitor or as part of a data privacy compliance team.What you’ll be like
