Privacy Program Manager

We are seeking for a highly skilled Senior Privacy Analyst with a strong focus on enhancing our third-party risk assessment process to form part of a diverse team reporting to HP’s Director of Privacy Enablement within the Trust and Privacy Organization under the Legal global function. It will play a pivotal role in ensuring our third-party vendors and service providers adhere to HP's privacy requirements. Our mission includes leading strategies, policies, and assurance for secure, compliant digital experiences and the responsible use of personal data.

Building trusted digital interactions is key to customer loyalty, especially as external requirements become more stringent and public scrutiny on companies' roles in protecting human rights in the digital realm increases. As technology advances with a greater emphasis on artificial intelligence and automated decision-making, HP needs to adapt. Key Responsibilities

Drive comprehensive privacy risk assessments of third-party vendors and service providers.Develop, implement, and maintain third-party risk management operations in alignment with global privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, PIPL, CCPA).Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to ensure privacy requirements are integrated into contracts and vendor agreements.Monitor and evaluate third-party compliance with privacy and data protection obligations.Conduct regular reviews of third-party vendors to identify potential privacy risks and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party privacy issues, providing guidance and support to internal teams.Stay current on industry standards and best practices related to third-party risk management.Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for senior management regarding third-party privacy risks and mitigation strategies.Assist in the development and delivery of privacy training programs for employees and third-party vendors.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the organization’s privacy program.Manage and lead strategic privacy initiatives involving multiple functions and disciplines that affect the organization’s long-term goals and privacy compliance posture.

Education And Experience Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Security, Law, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.Privacy certification such as CIPP is requiredPrivacy certification such as CIPM, CIPT are preferred5-15 years of experience in privacy or data protection with a strong focus on third-party risk assessment.Proven track record of conducting privacy risk assessments and reviews of third-party vendors.Knowledge of global privacy regulations and frameworks
