Privacy Program Manager

Position Summary:

Bentley Systems is hiring a Privacy Program Manager to join our growing Corporate Responsibility team. The Privacy Program Manager will oversee the development, execution, and management of our organizational privacy roadmap. This role is crucial in our efforts to boost maturity and awareness of Privacy in the organization. It will drive cross-functional collaboration and align privacy initiatives with business objectives. The ideal candidate will combine strong project management skills with knowledge of privacy and an understanding of what makes a successful privacy program.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

 

Manage, with input and direction from the Global Data Protection Officer, our corporate privacy guidelines, policies, processes, and training program. Partner with internal business units and business functions to provide guidance on our policies, processes, and strategy for regulatory compliance. Manage, with support from your colleagues, the important requirements of the global privacy program; and track evolving global data protection laws. Develop and deliver privacy training programs to employees across departments to build awareness. Partner with our strategic technology procurement team to manage risk in our supply chain. Partner with our account trust team to create user-facing materials and support the completion of privacy questionnaires originating from our users. Administer privacy risk reviews, privacy impact assessments, and data protection impact assessments with support from the broader privacy team. Guide business units and business functions through procedures designed to support privacy compliance in selection, assessment, contract review, risk mitigation, and project implementation. Process data subject rights requests and other requests and submissions common to corporate privacy programs. Track and report on privacy compliance metrics. Monitor and prepare for compliance with global privacy regulations.

 

What You Bring to The Team:

3+ years of experience supporting a privacy program and/or managing privacy projects. Demonstrated experience analyzing privacy issues. Prior experience collaborating with legal counsel, cybersecurity teams, privacy professionals, or interconnected business teams. Interest in independent work on assigned tasks, while also collaborating with colleagues in different functions around the globe. Highly responsive and reactive attitude. Collaborative teammate with ability to work independently.

 

You Might Also Have:

Prior involvement in writing and reviewing company policies, standards, and legal documentation. Familiarity with process design and global training administration. Privacy certifications (such as those issued by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
