Privacy Trainee

Nokia Business Services (NBS) is responsible for providing a world class professional services to our business groups and corporate functions - some service examples are payroll, sales operations or hospitality.

Within NBS, Corporate Services team has the mandate to be the safeguard for NBS privacy.

Working closely with the NBS Privacy Lead, you will partner with the NBS to focus on data privacy matters, engaging not only with NBS stakeholders, but with CFO (Chief Financial Office) or CPO (Chief People Office) colleagues to ensure that appropriate data privacy compliance and best practice standards are in place and met.

You will also liaise with key stakeholders in the wider Nokia organization, business groups, digital office, information security and other functions.

Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate finishing their BSc or MSc degree in Law, or a related field with an accredited school in Portugal

A relevant Master's or Bachelor's degree in Law, or related fieldUnderstanding of privacy regulations such as GDPR/ CCPADemonstrated critical thinking and ability to implement strategic management and policy recommendationsAbility to communicate Privacy objectives and knowledge orally, and in writing, to a variety of audiences and levels within the organizationStrong work ethic and ability to produce high-quality work while managing multiple tasks and activities at one timeSelf-motivation with the ability to work independently and as a team member

It would be nice if you also have:

Prior experience working/ specialization in data protectionExperience using OneTrust or a similar privacy management tool

You will support our NBS privacy leads in many daily activities:

Support - solution and process owners - by conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) on new and existing tools and technologies to ensure risks have been identified and provide recommendations.

Conduct “Privacy by Design” activities to prevent data privacy incidents and protect the privacy of our employees.

Verify compliance with privacy policies and requirements while ensuring the needed compliance evidence is produced.

Development and implementation of policies, standards, procedures, guidance, and privacy frameworks issued by the Data Protection Officer.

Work closely with NBS privacy leads to ensure the organization is up to date on privacy requirements, identify areas of concern, develop the relevant solutions, provide management response, track progress, and drive actions to completion.

Conduct training and awareness activities within Nokia’s People organization to build privacy competences within the various areas of responsibility.

Maintain up to date privacy expertise, skills, and competences.
