Job Purpose & Scope Responsible for building a book of high-net-worth clientele, managing and expanding those relationships to grow the private client base. Provide advice, counsel, and high-level customer service to meet the comprehensive banking needs of high-net-worth clients. Deliver private banking credit and deposit solutions, while partnering with trust and wealth management, retail, commercial banking and other lines of business to provide comprehensive financial solutions across the Bank OZK footprint through an exclusive delivery model. Essential Job Functions Convene and collaborate with product experts to develop long-term solutions to strengthen client relationships across all lines of business. Plan and prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly activities to maximize revenue growth and client satisfaction. Generate business results and acquire new assets from both existing client base and new client acquisition. Develop and maintain a strong community presence with an established network. Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of clients’ businesses and sources of wealth generation. Understand client needs, investment objectives, and risk profiles to offer tailored solutions and investment strategies that meet their investment, banking, and liquidity requirements; identify needs that are not articulated or clearly expressed by the client. Focus on the client experience and work tirelessly on the client’s behalf. Build strong relationships with client families that cross generations to establish long-term connections to the Bank. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients who frequently seek strategic advice regarding financial matters. Effectively manage client expectations regarding what can and cannot be executed on their behalf. Maintain full understanding of client goals and risk tolerance to ensure financial strategies are aligned and appropriate. Anticipate events in clients’ lives and businesses with significant financial implications, and proactively address. Keep abreast of financial industry developments and current global market conditions. Establish an internal referral network and gain introductions to potential clients to generate new sales. Collaborate with internal teams, including portfolio management, marketing, and operations, to leverage capabilities, share expertise, ensure seamless client onboarding, effective communication, and alignment of client expectations. Qualify, onboard, and service clients with minor oversight from management. Follow standard procedures and advocate appropriate exceptions to standard practices when warranted, seeking approvals as appropriate. Prioritize issues that need to be escalated, collaborating with the appropriate people and teams to expedite resolution. Maintain client communication records in the relationship management platform, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information. Based on feedback from clients, colleagues, and management, seek continuous improvement, demonstrating accountability and adapting behavior as necessary to ensure expectations are met or exceeded. Appropriately assess and mitigate risk, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, to minimize any potential liability for the Bank. Comply with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Complete all assigned/required Bank training within established timelines. Actively participate in efforts to improve efficiencies. Provide additional support to management and colleagues, as necessary. Display a high degree of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism at all times. Enthusiastically support the bank’s values and mission. Follow Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines to protect customers and bank assets. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Comprehensive knowledge of finance, investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts Knowledge of banking rules and regulations Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including presentation skills, to engage with clients and internal stakeholders Ability to demonstrate a strong aptitude for learning and communicating market trends, investment product knowledge, and systematic strategies Ability to display a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential client information Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, provide exceptional service and exceed client expectations Ability to demonstrate proven sales success and strong business acumen Ability to demonstrate effective analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Ability to make critical decisions independently Ability to demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and think outside the box Ability to partner with clients effectively to identify and service their unique needs Ability and willingness to travel overnight and work evenings and weekends as necessary to accomplish business objectives Ability to work independently and demonstrate accountability for onboarding new business relationships with high net worth and very high net worth clients Ability to demonstrate expertise in sales, networking, negotiations, community relationship building, and business development Skill in using computer, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), and banking applications Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience required; MBA, JD, CFA, or CFP preferred 5+ years of banking experience, including 3+ years in private banking or in another client-facing role serving high net-worth individuals, families and family offices, required NMLS, or successful completion of NMLS process within 45 days of hire, required Job Expectations Job Expectations: Operate customary equipment and technology used in a business environment, with or without accommodation.
