Private banking, Wealth Management and Investments strategy support

The challenge will include collaborating across multiple domains and functions to achieve common goals, but you will have the luxury to step into a newly formed role and responsibility, challenge the status quo, and invent better ways of doing things. Anneka Treon heads the new Head Quartered team and is functionally responsible for the private banking (PriBa) segment and the wealth management products serving the entire retail franchise, i.e., PBWM. The team is responsible for identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to grow the PBWM segment across the existing franchise and new to PriBa ING countries to grow ING’s diversified fee income.

The team | Global Retail
The Global Retail organisation is end-to-end functional responsible for the three retail segments: Private Individuals, Business Banking, and Private Banking & Wealth Management. Key responsibilities will be: to define and cascade down the segment strategy, manage commercial and financial performance, and first line risk and regulatory responsibilities. In our Global Retail strategy, Superior Customer Experience and Sustainability at heart in a safe & secure environment are the key enablers of business growth.
The head office teams will accumulate segment intelligence and best practices, ensure segment-wide consistency and scale successful local initiatives across the three segments. To put our customers first and really make the difference, we focus execution capacity close to the customer.

Roles and responsibilities
The PBWM Strategy Support team is responsible to formulate and execute the strategy for the PBWM segment as well as to drive the overall segment P&L by clear business prioritization of global PBWM activities. This includes  acting as link between the head office and the local investment and private banking segments and teams, and leading dedicated projects across segments and domains. Your will be a part of a transversal Change Execution professionals and among other will:

Contribute to co-creating the PBWM vision, strategy and roadmap and translating this overall strategy for the product lines into short & longer-term business objectives and quantify business outcomes & budgetResponsible for driving the prioritization of PBWM global projects/ activities/ deliverables - to support Global Head of PBWMManaging complex stakeholder environment by steering on facts, discussions based on thorough analysis and guide local implementations. Acting as linking pin towards other Global Retail teams, wider ING departments, countries, global standards. Actively stimulating countries to share (best) country practicesAssure progress by tracking dependencies, milestones and critical path to ensure successful delivery of the global PBWM objectives; actively help managing issues and impediments.

Furthermore:

7+ years experience in an international setting in the financial industry and consultancy background. Proven experience in driving business performance and generating impact in complex (senior) stakeholder landscapeUnderstanding of the Investments segment, its core products, business models and client propositionsExperience with balancing client, 1st and 2nd line interestsExcellent project management and data driven problem solving skills
