Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Equity Associate with 2-4 years of financial experience to join our growing investment team. As an Associate, you will play a key role in sourcing and evaluating potential investment opportunities, performing in-depth financial analysis, and supporting portfolio management efforts. Investment Research, Analysis & Due Diligence: + Conduct detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis (DCF, precedent transaction, comparable company analysis). + Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda, including analysis of financial statements, market trends, and industry outlook. + Perform due diligence on target companies, including reviewing legal, financial, and operational information. 2. Deal Execution: + Support senior team members in deal sourcing, structuring, and negotiation efforts. + Assist in preparing investment presentations for internal investment committees and external stakeholders. 3. Portfolio Management: + Support the portfolio management team in the monitoring of the financial performance of portfolio companies and prepare quarterly reporting for senior management. + Assist with portfolio company strategic initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and operational improvements. + Develop performance dashboards and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across the portfolio. 4. Market Research & Industry Analysis: + Conduct sector and company-specific research to identify potential investment opportunities. + Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform investment decisions. 5. Team Collaboration & Support: + Work closely with senior team members to support various aspects of the investment process Qualifications: · Experience: + 2-4 years of financial experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate finance. + Proven experience in financial modeling, valuations, and performing financial due diligence. · Education: + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from a top-tier institution. + CFA, MBA, or other relevant certifications are a plus, but not required. · Technical Skills: + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, data analysis, etc.) and PowerPoint (presentation creation). + Strong working knowledge of financial statement analysis, accounting principles, and corporate finance concepts.
