SEI provides technology and operational platforms that allow clients to focus their energy on creating investment products, creating alpha in those investment products, raising capital and distribution.

Position Description:

This individual will be required to manage a dedicated Fund Accounting team for Private Equity and Hedge Funds, which includes tier 1 Clients. Reporting into the Conducting officer of Fund Accounting, this individual will be responsible for interacting with all levels of professionals both internally and externally. Candidates must have a high level of understanding of both Private Equity and Hedge structures and related investment types and will ultimately be responsible for the day-to-day running of a dedicated Fund Accounting team and the management of a portfolio of Private Equity and Hedge clients. This position may be eligible to be performed in a hybrid fashion (in the office 3 or more days/week, and from a home office up to 2 days/week), within any applicable tax and social security limits for cross-border work.

What you will do:

As the Fund Accounting Manager, you will be required to work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that SEI and its clients are in full compliance with regulatory requirements.  Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

You will lead and develop your team of Private Equity and Hedge Fund Accountants and AnalystsEnsure deliverables and deadlines are metParticipate in new fund launchesParticipate in annual due diligence oversight program of delegates and AIFMParticipate in internal audit reviewsAd-hoc tasks / projects as required Assist with training and development of analysts within the teamWork collaboratively with colleagues within our GroupLiaise with the global sub-custodians, administrator and prime brokers, as required Review and update policies and proceduresMonitor delegates and ensure KPIs are addressed

What we need from you:

At least 5 years’ experience in a Fund Administration role, ideally to include at least 3 of those working on Private Equity Funds.Experience in working on Private Equity and Hedge accounting systems.At least 2 years people management and leadership experience.Ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines to meet strict deadlines, prioritizing work and maximizing efficiencies to manage timeHave a strong knowledge of Fund structures, various Fund domiciles regulatory requirements.Have experience in reviewing Fund documents.Business Fluency in English
