\nWhat will I be doing?
\nPrivate Island Manager for Ithaafushi Private Island will be responsible for ensuring all departments are aware of all guests’ needs that will lead to a unique, memorable, and personal stay for the resort guests. Specifically, as a Private Island Manager / Guest Relations Manager you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nProvide upscale guest service experiences for Private Island guest throughout their stay, evaluate guest satisfaction levels and monitor trends with a focus on continuous improvement of the Private Island.\nSupport the overall strategic management of the hotel by establishing effective working relationships with senior colleagues: in particular all operational leaders.\nSupport the key management activities and initiatives for the private island (capital projects, refurbishment, training, customer service)\nMaintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and with external customers and suppliers\nEnsure perfect coordination between operational departments to deliver true Waldorf Service to the Guests. Review maintenance schedule with DOE and team on a weekly basis\nConduct daily inspections of all areas of the Private island\nReview performance of the team on a regular and consistent basis\nOffer coaching and guidance when appropriate\nSummarize and review all expenses accounts in conjunction with the Finance team on monthly basis\nTo attend and actively participate in training sessions and monthly communication meetings\nTo ensure punctuality, excellent grooming and hygiene\nTo lead by example at all times and respect the team\nTo provide direction and support to teams on a daily basis\nTo keep excellent relationships with the team, peers, and all other colleagues of the hotel\nTo develop all team members of the department with appropriate training and coaching\nTo conduct the daily operations briefing and conduct additional briefings when and where needed\nTo be actively supporting Front Office operations when necessary or any other tasks as requested by our Management\nWhat are we looking for?
\nAs an ideal candidate Private Island Manager, we’re seeking an experienced operations manager to oversee daily operations of our Private Island. Main function, liaise with external event organizers and internal Teams, ensure that the Private Island runs smoothly and that our guests are wowed by our service. Additionally, you’ll be responsible to take care of the Private Island estate and maintain a proper PPM plan.
