*Job Description* The Private Swim Instructor is responsible and accountable for providing Quality / No Harm, Customer Experience, and Stewardship by offering superior quality, competitive value, and outstanding service in the form of private swim instruction and coaching at all competency levels. *Primary Accountabilities* *Quality/No Harm:* * Design individualized instructional programs based on age and skill level. * Incorporate water safety in all manner of instruction. * Offer the finest swim instruction available in Brevard County, bar none. * Maintain National Certification and stay abreast of developments in the field of swim instruction and stroke refinement. *Customer Experience:* * Strive to “connect” with clients on a personal, yet professional, level. * Communicate effectively and professionally in all situations. *Stewardship:* * Complete client paperwork and/or insure that paperwork/payment is properly completed before beginning lessons. * Begin and end lessons at assigned time. * Properly track and record time spent with client. * When appropriate, recommend that client continue with additional private swim sessions. *QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:* * High school diploma or equivalent. * Current American Heart Association BLS Certification. * WSI, SwimAmerica, ASCA, or other nationally recognized Swim Instructor/Coach. * Certification, as approved by Pro-Health & Fitness Centers. *PHYSICAL DEMANDS:* * Ability to assist clients as necessary in the water. * Ability to teach all ages and skill levels. * Must perform necessary water safety skills for emergency situations, as dictated by the EAP. * All duties deemed necessary by supervisor. **Job:** **Swim Instructor* **Organization:** **Holmes Regional Medical Center* **Title:** *Private Swim Instructor - ProHealth* **Location:** *Florida - Brevard County-Viera* **Requisition ID:** *076502*
