YOUR IMPACT
We are looking for an Analyst to join the Cross Markets Team ("CMT") in London that sits within the PWM Capital Markets team within Private Wealth Management. The Cross Markets Team is comprised of product specialists who provide investment ideas and trade execution in the equity, fixed income, currency and commodity ("FICC") markets. As an analyst within CMT FICC, your role will primarily revolve around pricing, trading and advising on derivative and cash transactions across FICC markets. You will have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, strong communication skills, and client service are essential to maintaining and enhancing our business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Price and structure vanilla, single- and multi-factor OTC options, structured notes including Dual Currency Notes (DCN’s) and cash transactions across all FICC asset classesWork closely with Private Wealth Advisors to support their PWM clients trading requirements Help with pre-trade and post-trade processes and requirementsSelf-starter, with ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment and across group functionsPresent investment ideas and opportunities to PWM sales teamsHelp prepare marketing presentations for our investment ideasLiaise with our counterparts in Compliance, Legal and Management on a variety of projectsContribute to platform expansion and potentially the introduction of new product lines Work and learn from a well-established experienced team of Product Specialists, Portfolio Managers, and Investment Advisors
REQUIREMENTS
Ideally 1-2 years' experience in a FICC sales or trading seatRelevant bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic recordStrong interest in global financial markets & derivative instrumentsStrong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsTeam orientated playerAttention to detailAbility to multi-task & work under pressureSolid work ethic and high levels of motivationTime management and the ability to prioritizeCommitment to excellence and a high level of integrity
