Private Wealth Management – Equity Structuring – Single Stock Risk Management (SSRM) – Vice President

YOUR IMPACT

The Single Stock Risk Management (SSRM) group within PWM partners with clients holding concentrated single-stock positions to deliver bespoke advice and execution. We offer a wide array of solutions including hedging strategies, monetization strategies (including block trading), and our discretionary option writing strategy, Goldman Option Advisory Services (GOAS). The SSRM team meticulously evaluates each client's objectives alongside stock-specific characteristics to develop effective and customized strategies, adhering to all applicable securities laws and considering potential tax implications. We are seeking a Vice President to lead and mentor a team, significantly contributing to the growth and success of the group.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the pricing, structuring, and execution of complex equity-linked transactions for high-net-worth clients.Manage and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.Develop and maintain strong relationships with Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) and clients, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities, expanding the client base and revenue streams.Analyze client portfolios and market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities, providing strategic recommendations.Create comprehensive marketing materials and presentations for single-stock solutions, effectively communicating complex concepts to a diverse audience.Oversee the development and implementation of innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and improve client service.Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape, ensuring the group remains at the forefront of the industry.Contribute to the development and implementation of new products and initiatives within the SSRM group.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

5-8 years of experience in capital markets, with a focus on equity derivatives or a related field. Proven track record of success in a client-facing role.Deep understanding of equity markets, derivatives, and risk management principles.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities, with experience managing and developing teams.Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.Strong understanding of securities laws and regulations.MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
