The Analyst will partner with Regional Sales Teams to cultivate relationships with new financial advisors within a specified channel and territory(s), with the goal of accelerating the adoption of Blackstone investment solutions. The Analyst will maintain a high level of contact with prospects and will be the subject matter expert across one of the most diverse sets of alternative investment offerings in the industry.

Responsibilities:

Partner with Regional Sales Teams to uncover and penetrate new advisor opportunities.Cultivate relationships with financial advisors through high-quality interactions including proactive and reactive calls, emails and follow-ups as well as limited in-person territory meetingsDemonstrated ability to understand and communicate Blackstone’s sophisticated products (fund objectives, terms, exposures, manager strategy, positioning, performance attribution, etc.)Take a consultative approach in profiling financial advisors in order to understand their business, clients and investment challenges to better match Blackstone solutions to their needsWork with Regional Sales Teams to establish and execute on territory plan(s) and utilize data to optimize engagement with financial advisorsUtilize the CRM system to log all client/prospect related activity on a daily basisWork with Business Development to leverage appropriate data sets for targeted outreach

Qualifications:

Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.

The successful candidate must have:

2+ years experience: with a preference towards asset management, wealth management, or alternative investmentBachelor’s degree (minimum) and FINRA Series 7 & (63/65, or 66)Passion for this space and this role.Strong skills in Microsoft Office and SalesForceStrong verbal and written communicationAbility to communicate across all levels of the firmAbility to stay individually focused while also working well in a team environment

Expected annual base salary range:

$120,000 - $125,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
