Purpose and Scope:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Privileged Access Management Engineer to join our team. As a Privileged Access Management Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing privileged access to critical systems and sensitive data within our organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems by implementing and maintaining effective access controls and monitoring privileged user activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, access management, and risk assessment.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Assist with the development, implementation and updating of a comprehensive privileged access management strategy and framework. Enforce privileged access policies, procedures, and guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess privileged access requirements. Design and implement access controls and authentication mechanisms for privileged accounts. Ensure the smooth functioning and operations of the Privileged Access Management Tool (PAM) Monitor and audit privileged user activities to detect and respond to any unauthorized access or suspicious behavior. Regularly review and update access privileges based on business needs and security requirements. Conduct periodic access reviews and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Provide training and guidance to employees on privileged access management best practices. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in privileged access management. Collaborate with IT teams to identify and remediate any vulnerabilities or weaknesses in access controls. Participate in incident response activities related to privileged access breaches or security incidents. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth PAM operations. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors. Participate in meetings and discussions related to PAM planning and improvements.
